Welcome to my Task Walrus review. You will find out if this is another scam or a legit way to earn gift cards and rewards.
From the homepage, it looks like a legit website. There are no big claims, hype and nonsense. But I discovered another scam on the members’ area.
What Is Task Walrus?
Task Walrus is a copy of other scams that I have exposed before like Paid 4 Clout and Eazy Dollars. While the homepage is different, you can find the same members’ area and process to make money.
All these scams have one thing in common. They do not pay their members no matter how much they have worked for it.
Task Walrus is a free website. It let you create a free account and get inside because they get the emails and log in details of the members. Then, they will sell them on third-party companies for a profit. This is a scam that just collects data
The problem for many people is that there is no way to figure it out if they do not go through the website. Many legit sites are free and offer you real tasks.
The only thing you can do to avoid it is to do your research before getting started. In some cases, there will be no harm for you if you don’t take action on the members’ area.
But if you believe them, you may waste time and money. It’s free to create an account, but they ask for money when you complete these tasks.
Some experienced users may avoid Task Walrus because of the following scam alerts.
First, there are some fake stats on the homepage. They say that the website has 188k members and is online for 4 years. Simply, this is a very new website, and most people have never heard about it before.
Second, the rewards for these tasks and referrals are very high. It’s not possible to make $1 per click on any legit website.
But if you have no experience with relevant websites, it is not easy to recognize these issues.

How Does It Work?
When you get inside, they have created a process in which you must complete tasks and share your referral link to social media.
On the members’ area, you can see the following page:
They add to your account a sign up bonus of $25, and then you must complete some requirements.
So, there are three ways to earn more money:
1. Referrals: The first part of the scam is the referral link. You get that link and find ways to spam it on the internet.
For every click on your link, you earn $1 and for every referral, you earn $5.
Of course, there are no legit sites with tasks that pay $5 for free referrals or $1 per click. I have mentioned many times on other reviews that the legit referral programs pay for specific actions.
These actions are purchases or specific tasks. If a free website pays so much money for clicks, it will not be profitable.
2. $20 Surveys: These are the tasks. While it says that they are surveys, you will find tasks that you must download apps or participate in contests.
The problem here is that you must get redirected on third-party websites and fill in your phone number. And they will charge you in the future.
$20 for completing tasks is not a realistic expectation as well. These rewards are too good to be true.
3. YouTube Submission: This is the last part of the scam and a smart way to make the users work for the scammer.
They ask for short videos that promote Task Walrus. You must upload them on YouTube by following specific instructions and they allow to add your referral link. If you do everything right, they will add to your account $50.
Can You Get Paid?
As you complete tasks and get referrals, they will add money to your account. But as I said, there are some requirements before asking for a payout.
You must have 50 clicks, 5 referrals and 4 tasks. With a few words, you need $155 to be able to request a payout. It’s obvious that they make it hard for the users to meet these requirements.
If you complete all these tasks and ask for your earnings, you will see that they delay your payment. After a while, they will disapprove it, and there is nothing that you can do about it.
There are many complaints on previous versions of this scam, and this is what we expect here as well.
Lastly, there is no payment proof of Task Walrus on the internet. They do not show us any screenshot of actual payment.
About The Owner and The Testimonial
As expected, we have no information about the owner. The website does not mention a name or something else.
They do not want to give us enough details, so they have created some random stats and images.
The contact details are not completed and the available information is not real. They do not include an email address but just mention a skype account.
On the members’ area, you will not get any support or help as well. It’s on you to figure out everything.
Lastly, they mention a few testimonials on the homepage. They are not real users but just images with a few words next to them.

This person has many different names around the internet because some people create fake testimonials with photos from stock image websites.
My Final Verdict – Is Task Walrus A Scam?
Yes, Task Walrus is a scam. This is a copy of other scams, so there are no accidents here.
The persons who created this site use many unethical strategies, and they don’t pay the members.
The only thing you can do is to stay away from it. It would not be a good idea to send more people on that scam or complete any of the tasks. You will just lose money.
It seems that many of these scams became popular in the past. There are some Facebook groups that overpromote these sites. I am not sure if they are members who just get scammed or the scammers themselves behind these groups.
This is something that you must consider before taking advice from any random groups. You must always read reviews before joining a website and ask for payment proof.
If you have found a new website and there are no reviews yet, just wait for a few days or weeks. Someone will write about them.
Keep in mind that the legit websites with tasks pay less than $1 per tasks or even less. For a few examples, you can read about Swagbucks and ClixSense that are legit and popular GPT sites.
Also, the legit referral programs will pay you per sale or per specific actions.
It takes work to make money on the internet. No one will pay $20 per survey or $1 per random clicks on social media.
Here Is A Legit Way To Make Money Online
I work online as an affiliate marketer, and this is what I suggest to everyone who wants to make money on the internet.
