OGTask Review: Scam Or Legit?

Welcome to my OGTask review. It is a program that promises $100 today and every day for each member. The claims are not realistic, so you probably want to know if this is a legit site that delivers or a scam. In this review, you will read how it works and what exactly to expect.

What Is OGTask?

OGTask claims to be an influencer network that helps people to make money from social media. However, it is not a network and does not teach you anything about social media. They just tell the members to share a referral link to their social media accounts with the promise of huge earnings.

Of course, it is not possible to make $100 per day when you start from zero on free websites. There are many legit sites with referrals and tasks, but they pay a few cents for these actions and not so much money. The promise of big earnings, it is the first scam alert of OGTask. Also, we are supposed to make so much money without any work that does not make sense.

This site is not legit, but a copy of other online scams that claim to be influencer networks. For a few examples of these copies, you can check my reviews of ShoutNow, CashInfluence, SwiftBucks, Earn and Go, OGDollars, and OGBucks. All these sites have the same members’ area. There are some changes on the homepage and the presentation, but every other part is the same.

These sites do not pay the members, and you can expect the same from OGTask. While it is a free website, the owners can make money by using the contact details of the members. They have access to the email addresses and login details of all the members. It is easy for them to use them for a profit by selling these details.

For this reason, they have created a very misleading homepage and members’ area. They want you to share your link because if you get referrals, they can earn more money. By sharing your link on social media, they can new members from people who already follow you. But as I have already mentioned, they will not pay you for your work.

How Does It Work?

The plan of OGTask is to look like a legit website. However, legit websites have slow and natural growth. The scams tend to have quick growth, and then they disappear. So, it has a referral program and tasks like a legit site, but they promise huge rewards for simple tasks to get our attention. Here is what you can get inside:

Sign up bonus: When new members create an account on OGTask, they get $25 on their dashboard. They don’t need any extra action.

Referrals: There is no free site that pays $2 per click and $10 per referrals as they promise inside. If they pay for these free clicks and referrals, they will lose money in the long term. If you join any legit website with a referral program, you will see that they pay per specific actions. For example, they pay per sale or per actions like completing a task. In this way, the site earns money, and the members earn a commission.

$30 Task Wall: They advertise surveys and apps that pay $30 each. However, there are no legit sites that pay so much money for surveys. The average online survey pays $0.50 per 20-30 minutes of answering questions. When you download apps, the rewards are even lower than surveys.

The truth is that there are no real surveys on the members’ area. The tasks redirect you on third-party websites that request for a phone number. If you don’t give your number, you will not be able to complete tasks at all. When you share your phone number, these sites send you text messages and charge your phone number.

Social Media Submissions: You can publish posts and videos on different platforms on social media. The site gives you specific instructions that you must follow. In some cases, you can use this option multiple times. The only problem is that they promise $50 per post or video. You can be sure that a post on social media is not worth so much money unless you have a huge following.

Can You Get Paid From OGTask?

The answer is no, and there are many scam alerts in this part of the site. First, there are some screenshots on the homepage that they use as payment proofs. However, they are not real payments. We can see only a number and the name of the site with no further information. They are not PayPal payments.

Next, there are no other proofs of payment anywhere on the internet. They guys who promote it on social media are members who want to get referrals or the owners. In both cases, they don’t show any proof even if they claim and promise different things. The lack of proof is a sign that people do not get their money.

If a member meets the requirements of the site, they can request a cashout. The problem is that OGTask does not pay the members. In most copies of the scam, they reject the payments for fraud clicks and referrals, but it would not be a surprise if they don’t reply at all.

No Owner and Contact Details

The last issue is that there is no real support. They give us an email address, but they do not reply to any emails. Also, there are no social media accounts of OGTask. It is quite weird for a site that claims to work with social media.

Lastly, we have no idea who is the owner of the site. They avoid giving us any contact details. Lack of contact information is a common scam alert. They do not want you to know the owner of the site or any other details.

Is OGTask A Scam? – My Final Verdict

OGTask is a copy of other scams that you can find in different domain names. I mentioned a few of them in the beginning, but there are hundreds of these sites. OGTask is another scam, and they don’t pay the members.

When sites like OGTask get negative reviews and complaints, they just close. No one will take responsibility or try to explain. They will close the site after a while, and new copies will popup in other domain names. There is nothing you can do to get your money if you have already created an account and took any type of action. Just stay away from OGTask. If you have not created an account yet, you don’t have lost anything, and they did not waste your time.

Lastly, you want to avoid any similar scams in the future. The best thing you can do is to avoid the profiles, pages, and groups on social media that promote OGTask. The chances are that they will promote similar sites in the future. Also, you need to be aware that there is no way to go from zero to $100 per day overnight. While it’s fine to have goals, it takes work and time to achieve them.

How To Make Money Online

If you want to do simple and easy tasks, your potential earnings will be low. There are legit GPT sites with online surveys and offers, but you cannot earn more than a few dollars per week with these sites. However, they are great for people who just want to use them in their free time.

So, two top websites in this category are Swagbucks and ySense. They have many payment proofs and multiple available surveys to get started.

For a full-time income opportunity, you need to invest more time. My suggestion is affiliate marketing. It’s an online business model with huge potential and a great option for beginners at the same time. You can start with no technical knowledge, experience, or a big budget. If you have internet access and a laptop or computer, you can become an affiliate marketer.

Affiliate marketing is about promoting other people’s products and make commissions per sale. It’s a business model that can work for years and not a money-making trick or a trend. You can build your business once and earn residual income for your work in the future.

Top affiliate marketers use blogs, social media, YouTube, and other platforms to promote their products. You will not learn to spam links, but you will help other people and add value. When you help others and recommend good products, there are many chances to get results.

For a top training platform for affiliate marketers, you can read about Wealthy Affiliate. It has step by step training, every tool you need to start your business, over two million members, and an active community of fellow affiliates.
