How To Make Money With Clickbank And Twitter (The Right Way)

This post may contain affiliate links for more info visit my disclosure page.

How To Make Money With Clickbank and TwitterMany people use Twitter for affiliate marketing. Clickbank is a popular affiliate network, easy to get started. So, many beginners try to make money by promoting Clickbank’s products on Twitter.

The problem is that most people do it wrong.

Even the guides on how to make money with Clickbank and Twitter are wrong.

Also, they usually recommend spammy ways to promote your offers. Again, it does not work in this way and you are not getting any results.

So, stop wasting your time and follow another strategy.

On this post, I will show you how to create your account and promote your products properly.

Your Twitter strategy must be a part of a complete affiliate marketing strategy. However, many people earn extra money or get traffic only from Twitter.

Anyway, click the link above and read my guide. You need to understand the process before starting with any type of affiliate marketing.

Next, let’s start with Twitter:

Create Your Twitter Account

If you want to promote products on Twitter and get traffic, your profile must look great. With a few words you need:

  • Nice images (profile and background)
  • A well-written bio
  • Interesting Tweets

If you have not defined your niche, click on the link above and check how you can find one.

Then, you need to decide what type of account you want. You can create a personal account, you will add your name and your images or you can create an account about your brand. Both of them are fine.

If you want to start a brand account, you will need a site or a blog.

For example, I have created an account for this site where I share my updates and my links.

Next, an affiliate marketer recommends products to an audience. Why should someone listen to you?

Someone will listen to you if he/she trusts you. For this reason, spammy ways do not work. A person who has been active for a month on Twitter, he has seen thousands of promotional and spammy Tweets. People do not click them or buy something from them.

Here is what you can do:

Learn How To Add Value To Your Audience

If you are in the weight loss niche and you tweet something like “check how I lost 10 pounds in two weeks” with a link, everyone knows that you just sell something. They do not care and they are not going to click your links.

But what if you use this product and you actually lose 10 pounds in two weeks.

These two weeks, you tweet updates about your diet, your routine, the positive or negative feelings, ask support, give support to others, photos, videos, proof that you really do that and anything relevant.

What do you expect to happen?

My prediction is that you will get thousands of followers, a lot of likes and retweets, clicks on the links of your product and hopefully, you will make many sales!

If you achieve your goal, many people will ask you how you did that and contact you for more information. You will become an expert!

The best part?

You can share your progress to other social media as well, you will get even more engagement and followers.

There are two ways to share your content on social media. The first one is with links (links to your content and not to your promotions). That works if you have a website. Next, with tweets, photos, and videos directly on Twitter.

You can try them both to see what works better for you.

There are other ways to add value as well. For example, you can share quality content of others, retweets, your opinion on relevant topics and more. Check what the influencers share in your niche and you will get many ideas.

How To Grow Your Account

The best way is by adding value. If you do that, many people will find you. However, there are a few strategies that will help you:

  • Follow other people: You can start by following the influencers in your niche and people who tweet relevant information. Some of them will follow you back.
  • Hashtags: I include in every tweet a relevant hashtag. Only one or two of them.
  • Engagement: To get likes and retweets, like and retweet other’s people content. Of course, only the relevant and quality content.

Social media are created for the average user so the process is not complicated. The only thing you need is consistency. Try to be active at least for some minutes per day.

Promote Your Products

Some people add their affiliate links to almost every tweet. It would be better to avoid that. Too many links look spammy and people do not like them.

Focus on adding value. The only exception is when you add a link to a quality article or when you have an account for a brand. When you have created an account for your site, your followers expect and want to see the links of your site.

If you have created a personal account, add the recommended link on your profile and a nice description. When you share nice content many people will see your profile and check your link.

Also, do not add your affiliate links directly. They do not look nice. Use Bitly to generate a smaller link with more chances to get clicks.

If you have a landing page, add the link of your landing page to your profile. It’s the same process.

You can start with Clickbank products because they do not have an approval process like other affiliate networks. You just create your account and grab your links.

Choose the best products in your niche and do not look for the highest commissions. If you like the make money online niche, check my favorite affiliate program.

Conclusion – How Much You Can Earn With Clickbank And Twitter

Well, if you follow that strategy, tweet your progress with a product, add value and you are active on Twitter daily, you can get many clicks on your links.

Of course, it’s a process. As you grow, you will get more followers and clicks.

If you decide to focus only on Twitter marketing, you could expect an extra income if you work properly. Full-time income only from Twitter or only from social media it can be achieved through time as you develop your marketing skills.

  1. Thank you. You just made twitter a heck of a lot easier for me. I haven’t been using twitter for very long and I’m not really on it that much. I think that is going to change now! I’m still not sure if click bank is for me or not. But thanks for giving me something to think about.

    1. Thank you, Ben. I have over 16k followers and get referrals consistently for the programs I promote so yes, I have tried it. Good luck!

  2. I want to use short links and I heard that links can be stolen. Do you think that can Bitly prevent that or should I use a plugin? What are your experiences with it?

    1. I have been using Bitly since I created my Twitter account. I have not noticed any problems. Sure, you can use a plugin or other sites to create short links.

  3. #makingmoneyontwitter, wow, I like the sound of that. I am curious which type of account you would recommend, the personal or the brand account? I have heard that most SM sites now have each type of accounts, and both of them have different rules governing them. I am active on Facebook and I do have a personal account on Twitter, but I never use it.
I learned a lot from your article and I am anxious to start using Twitter to get traffic to my site. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Both of them can work. If you have a brand account, you must be more professional, share only content from your site and only really relevant tweets like the other brands.

With a personal, you can share anything relevant to you. Of course, tweets relevant to your niche or product are needed but you can also share and other things you like.

If you are active with Facebook, stick with Facebook. It’s better to become really good at something than getting average results from many sources.
