In this CloutBux review, you will find out if this site can really give you $500 today, or it is a scam that you should avoid. The homepage does not include enough information to understand how it works, so here is what you can expect as a member of the site.
What Is CloutBux?
CloutBux is not an influencer network as they claim because there is no such thing. It looks like a GPT site with ridiculously high rewards. These rewards sound too good to be true, and you will learn that they are not true.
The unrealistic claims is a common issue on online scams and get-rich-quick schemes. You cannot start from zero and make $500 in one today. If you start with any legit way, you will see that there is a process. First, you must learn the basics and earn a few bucks. Later, you can increase your earnings by putting more effort and improving your skills. When someone promises the opposite, something is wrong.
There are some sites that use the term influencer network. All these sites are scams that have the same claims, members’ area, and a similar homepage. For a few examples, you read about EarnBucks, Clout Bonus, Clout Bucks, Clout Pay, Social Bounty, Use 2 Earn, and more. In this category of sites, we can add CloutBux as well.
CloutBux is a copy of these older scams and does not pay the members. The owner of the site uses it to collect data. When a visitor creates a new account, the owner gets an email address, a name, and some log in details. He can sell all this information for a profit. There are many online marketers who would love to buy a list of email addresses.
Lastly, it has a misleading members’ area that tries to keep you around. They add money to your dashboard if you take any type of action. The money gives a feeling of progress, but they will not send that money to your PayPal or bank account. They have created this process because they want your traffic.
How Does It Work?
When a user creates a new account, it starts a process that encourages them to take even more action. The site wants more things than just an email. They want to get referrals and revenue with their tasks.
So, the first thing you see on the dashboard is a $100 signup bonus. I have never seen a $100 bonus again for creating an account. It looks like they give money for nothing. However, you can request that money yet. There are some requirements that include the following:
Referrals: The members’ area has a referral link that you must post around the internet. CloutBux suggests posting it on social media and messenger. When someone clicks on that link, they add to your dashboard $2. The reward for each referral is $10.
If you have joined any legit referral program before, you probably know that no one pays money for clicks from random people. Also, it is ok to earn money when your referrals buy things, but no one pays for free referrals without any other action.
$35 TaskWall: Many GPT sites include online surveys and different types of offers. However, they pay a few cents for each one of them. CloutBux promises $30 for each task on the members’ area. These tasks do not make sense.
If you click any of them, you will see that they are not real tasks or surveys. They are links to third-party websites that request a phone number. These sites are unknown and do not include any information. When you fill in the phone number, they start charging you for text messages.
Social Media Submissions: You have the option to create and upload a YouTube video or just publish a post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. There are specific instructions on how to post them. The site promises from $10 to $50 for these submissions.
They Do Not Pay
They give you a $100 bonus and have set the minimum cashout limit at $100 as well. Then, there are a few requirements that each member must complete before requesting a cashout. When you reach their limits, you can add your payment details and request your money.
However, they will not pay you or respond to your request. In some similar sites, they close accounts or just reject the request. So, they will not pay you, and there are no payment proofs of other members on the internet.
You may have heard some people claiming that they have made money with CloutBux on social media or YouTube. I guess they did not show you any proof. People create these videos with the instructions of the site because they hope to get paid, but they have not received any money.
My point is that many members promote the site. Most of them have been scammed. You may have learned for the site from other members or the owners. In both cases, stay away from people that suggest CloutBux.
New and Unknown Website
A common scam alert on many websites that are not trustworthy is the lack of contact information. CloutBux does not give us any information about the owner or any other person relevant to the site. They only include some misleading information on the different pages of the site.
While they claim to be in business for ten years, the site is a few weeks old when this CloutBux review is written. At the same time, they don’t have any social media accounts, and their support is limited to one email address that no one replies back. It is obvious that the owners try to hide their names and avoid giving any details about them.
Is CloutBux A Scam? – My Final Verdict
Yes, CloutBux is a scam. There is no payment proof on the internet, and they include ridiculously high rewards for referrals and tasks that would not worth more than a few cents in any legit site. The homepage and members’ area are misleading to make you take action.
As I mentioned, there are hundreds of similar websites on the internet. They collect data and make advertising revenue from these tasks. The tasks are the only way to lose money directly because they charge your phone number. With the referrals, you just waste your time.
Sites like CloutBux close after a while. They want to get as much data as possible, and then they disappear or redirect visitors to other sites. They want to avoid angry members and negative reviews.
As a member, you can’t do anything to claim your money. We do not even know the owner of the site, so no one takes responsibility for this one. The only thing you can do is to unsubscribe for anything that is relevant to the site and search for other alternatives.
The good news is that there are many legit ways to make money online, but you will not make $500 today when you start from zero. Also, it is not possible to complete surveys for $30 or earning money for copy-pasting a link.
How To Make Money Online
Before getting started, you need to set your goals. Your earnings depend on the way you choose, and the time you are willing to invest.
If you want to start with something easy or do not have available time for more, online surveys can be an option for those who want to earn some extra dollars per week. It is super simple because you answer questions, and each survey takes a few minutes.
For an option with bigger potential, you can consider affiliate marketing. It is a beginner-friendly business model that anyone can start without a big budget or experience. You do not even need to own a product. Affiliate marketers promote other people’s products and earn commissions when they make sales. There are many full-time affiliate marketers, and you can be one of them.
However, many beginners do the wrong things and don’t get results. It is not about tricking and spamming people. Affiliate marketing is about adding value and recommend only quality products. If you follow that process, people will trust you and buy what you recommend.

If you learn to add value, you can make money over and over again. This is what the top marketers do. It is not about finding a secret or a system that will work without you. The guys who claim who sell these shortcuts just make money selling them.
